Beef Stroganoff is on the top of my list of comfort foods. It's an easy recipe and one that I have mastered. Still, I like to try other versions of it just to see if I can improve on mine.
This recipe is a small upgrade to beef stroganoff. The French Onion Soup really makes this recipe. That little addition makes a big difference.
It's a hearty, one pot meal that I am sure you'll enjoy.
I made ZERO changes to this recipe. Oh wait, that's not true. I had a half of an onion from another meal so I sliced that up and tossed it in when I was cooking the beef.
